Dahi Pana (Odia: ଦହି ପଣା) is a traditional drink made with yogurt, fruits, and spices, which is prepared and consumed on the occasion of Pana Sankranti or Odia New Year. Pana Sankranti, also known as Maha Visuba Sankranti, falls on April 14 or 15 every year and marks the beginning of the solar year in the Odia calendar.
Dahi Pana is a cooling and nourishing drink that helps to beat the summer heat and also provides various health benefits. It is rich in probiotics, vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that boost immunity and digestion. It also helps to balance the body's pH level and prevent dehydration.
