Pausha Khechudi (Odia: ପୌଷ ଖେଚୁଡ଼ି) is the prasad offered to God on Puspuni, an annual event observed in the western and southern part of Odisha celebrated to present newly grown paddy to God.
People used to make this Pausa Khichudi with freshly harvested ingredients like as rice and other varieties of dals.
Pausha Purnima is the final day of Dhanu Jatra and at the end of this drama, the Mythological monarch Kansa dies, and after that people celebrate Puspuni.
