Bela Pana (Odia: ବେଲ ପଣା) is a very healthy, delicious, and traditional drink offered to God on Pana Sankranti.
Belapana a prepared from the pulp of Indian Bael (Aegle marmelos). This pana is a cure for sunstroke and a must-have for Odia New Year celebrations. It is also used to treat stomach issues.
Bela Pana Ingredients:
- Indian Bael
- Jaggery
- Black Pepper
- Curd
- Chhena
- Cardamom
- Banana
Remove the seeds from the Bela pulp and add the peeled banana, curd, chhena, cardamom jaggery, and stir thoroughly. Your Bela Pana is now ready to serve in a cup or glasses.
